Half-pint, shared with Finn. Warm golden body, close-to-clear, tiny white head, fair lacing. Moderately fruity aromas, hints of orange. Succulent, mid-sweet citrus flavours, cereal malts beneath. Mid-sweet and mid-dry finish. Medium bodied. Quite alright. (Liverpool, 12.02.2025).

Cask @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Clear golden with a creamy head. Metallic citrus notes, tastes like a bit of welding has been going on in the vicinity.

Cask at Real Crafty, Wigan. Pours very dark reddish-brown with minimal foamy tan head and good lacing. There’s roast malts and oats in the aroma, plus some hints of toffee. In the mouth it is sweet and smooth with a creamy texture. Flavour has dark fruits, treacle and roast malts with traces of honey and cola coming through later. Finish is fruity and slightly dry. Seems to be quite decent, but I can’t be too certain as it was served much too cold – a rerate required maybe ?
