Cask @ Gas Lamp, Manchester. Golden with a very mild haziness and a head. Easy drinking slightly watery-hoppy brew, but fine enough with a hint of citrus behind its light hops and floralness.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a golden yellow with a medium sized frothy white head. Aroma is a strange mixture of bananas and porridge – plus some hints of citrus. In the moputh it is smooth and creamy. There’s some sharpness, but an underlying sweetness too. Flavour has floral hops and grapefruit with trces of mango and oats. Some citrus in the finish – but luckily not too much. Not too bad – but not brilliant either.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours almost black with a decent sized frothy off-white head. Chocolate and malts are prominent in the aroma. Whilst in the mouth there is a slight bitterness, with roast malts, oats and chocolate. Finish is somewhat bitter too. Decent, but not wildly exciting.
