Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - black and opaque. Cream to tan head. Nose - damp floorboards, like a corked wine. Creamy chocolate. Taste - more of the same. There's problem with this I think. Sour and oxidised. Palate - medium bodied. Sour but not planned as far as I can tell. Overall - seems spontaneous with the wrong yeast.

Opaque dark brown beer, short lived bubbly dark tan head. Palate is quite light, fairly dry and has decent fin carbonation. Sour dark malts, very tangy dark chocolate and coffee. Tangy dark fruits. A bitter off note of something, not sure I want to know what. Quite a warming finish. Yuk. Drain pour.

Manchester Beer Festival 2020. Hazy amber with a deeper and mildly sweet hoppiness. It's decent, but not exactly an 'old ale'.

Bottle split at the L6 XMAS Karnage Tasting, thanks to Dave, 19/12/19. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is bitter roast, cocoa sprinkle, charr, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, charr, ashen tones, dusty red berries, faint pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with dusty hop bitterness. So so affair.
