Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Dry hoppy aroma. Starts fine fruity-hoppy, modest dry. Notes of lemon, some grapefruit. Mild sourish background, mild bitterness. Finish well balanced. Nice!

Bottle from Hol ab in Elsfleth. Orange with a frothy head that lingers. Mild mango and citrus notes. A hint of caramel. Taste is bitter, trending astringent at the finish, which is lightly warming and a bit rough with its graininess and notes of glue and raw alcohol. Medium body, moderate carbonation. If we simply observed and sniffed, without actually tasting, it could be good.

250ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with ruby glimmer and small, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, burnt caramel, Bourbon, vanilla, minimally tannic, oaky overtones. Taste is dry, tart-ish, tannic oaky and caramel and dark malty, hints of green wood, sorrel, malt lozenge, caramel, burnt caramel, some Bourbon, a touch of vanilla. So far the best Pilot Brew - sadly the tannic parts gain more (and eventually too much) weight with time.

0,33 l bottle from a Hol´Ab! market in Delmenhorst. Unclear pale golden to yellow with a small one finger head in the glass. Some sediments at the bottom. Pale grain and some citrus on the nose. Taste starts with some hop elements and grape. Short grassy part, getting more and crisp. Mid carbonation. Some long lasting bitterness in the aftertaste. Better than expected.
