bottle from bierpost.com. Amber with a red glow, mid-sized off-white head. Caramel, shy nutty hints, roasetd malts and god earthy and also slightly fruity hopy in the finish.

0,33 l bottle, normally only available at some tourist spots in Bremerhaven. Different recipe to their regular Rotbier as reported on the brewers FB site. Unclear pale amber in the glass, nearly two finger pale reddish head. Sweet malty smell with some hop. Taste stars with more straw than malt, mid bitterness. Hints of sourness. Pale grain. Mediocre stuff.

330ml bottle. Hazy, bright orangey, dark golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally strawy, citrusy hoppy aroma, zesty notes of lemon, orange, mandarine, minimally sugary, pale and caramel malty background. Taste is slightly grassy, minimally waxy, citrusy hoppy, hints of lemon, waxy lemon peel, rathe rneutral malty basis, minimally watery passages.

Bottle 250ml. @ home. [ As Union Bremer Union Pilot Brew All In! 8.1 Bourbon-Barrel-Aged ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, dusty, wine - red wine, port - tawny, raisin, prunes, wood, alcohol - bourbon, light iodine. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, prunes, raisin, wine - red wine, port - tawny, wood, bread, prune - soy sauce, dark malt, roasted - chocolate. Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, light roasty. Mild bitterness in the background. Finish well balanced, dry-malty. Nice!
