Description
Founded in 2018, the vision for SALT was 3 years in the planning. We aimed to create a modern, accessible brand, embedded in the local community of the UNESCO World Heritage Village of Saltaire. We strive to produce exceptional hop-forward beer and couple this with a valuable brand experience.

Our purpose is to create pleasure through beer – This is why we exist. Craft beer is our means to impact people above beyond their taste buds.

Watching some lower league Scottish football with this one - where as is the case tonight not unusual to have two teams playing with neither having the common place name they hail from in their title! This beer is well named though with the banana and toffee both represented well in what is a smooth textured and slightly strength infused tasting stout. Banana is the slightly more dominant of the two. It's also quite rich tasting, although it does say this on the tin so I can confirm it's not lying!

440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, banana. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, somewhat rich, roasty, caramel, banana, light mineral, earthy, liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Keg at The Boathouse, Newquay. I don't know why this Yorkshire brewery seems big around here but hey ho. This was an awful session IPA - just watery mess. Aroma of cider. Thin appearance. Sherbet mixed with lager flavour.
