Draft at the Garden Bar, Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, slightly watery, crisp, earthy, mineral, stone fruits, light citrus hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at Low Key Taproom Ashford. Hazy gold colour lasting beige head. West Coast ipa. Some grapefruit flavour. Hoppy finish. Carries alcohol well. Light resin. Good bitterness on the finish. OK pnw style ipa could do with a bit of a pine kick. OK though.

On the day I'm drinking this beer back in 1984 the Thames Barrier was opened (something I only saw once in the 12 years I spent living in London), which stopped some of the places I rented from flooding, so I am appreciative! This beer flooding down my palate was a little disappointing, I expected more coffee through the name and description, but got regular - even the tequila part is on the light side, but is evident, although not particularly impactful. Carbonation noticeable here.

440ml can. Semi hazed light gold with white top. Aromatic citrus and tropical fruits with a light funk; quite sweet. Taste is sweet with a bitter undercurrent of tropical fruit and a lemon sharpness. Drying with medium body. Solid.
