We also boast CAMRA accolades including 2019 Bolton Winter Pub of the Season, 2020 Bolton Pub of the Year. 2019 saw the release of the cult hit, Film Club! Our incredibly unique but completely delectable popcorn stout.
Our aims and ambitions remain the same as the day we first started and that is to make great beer and take great pride in representing our Northern heritage, and of course to serve the greatest beers at our Brewery Tap.

Thin beige head left a spotty cover on an unclear amber coloured body. Pine, marmalade & orange aroma. Medium bodied, tingly with a clean back. Orange, yeast, cereal, hoppy & pine tastes with a bitter finish. Decent

Thin off white head left a spotty cover on a hazy dark straw coloured still body. Peach, caramel & dull hop aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with tickle on the back. Peach, floral, tropical fruit & sweet citrus tastes with a big fruity finish. Nice & tasty

Bottle shared by Cuso, thanks. Malty aroma and taste, yeasty notes, cheesy mouldy notes, oxidation, medium bitter. Medium body, malty bitter finish. Weird.

Bottle at a tasting, thanks to Cuso. Med-thin body, moderate carbonation. Overall feels watery. Light rye bready grainy maltiness, moderate bitterness, but really not much in terms of hops. Bland, watery. Average.

Wigan Beer Festival 2020. Dark ale with a full sweetness. The ‘popcorn’ in its name is very apt, but this stated flavour does get overbearing eventually.

Wigan Beer Festival 2020. Golden with a glow and a rather bland malt-hop balance.

Piccadilly Tap Manchester real cask ale. Not lying when they say popcorn, it is heavily buttery, accentuated by the flat creamy body.
