50cl flaske på thai/indisk (eller var det omvendt?) restaurant i Vilnius: Oransjegylden med ok skum. Fruktig humlearoma og -smak som var en fin avkjøling til den indiske maten vi spiste med sin citrus og tropiske frukter i fin balanse. Behagelig bitterhet og fylde matchet nesten krydderet i maten, men til syvende og sist var det Kitty sitt valg av hveteøl (Svyturys Baltas Hefeweizen) som ble vinneren ved dette måltidet.

50cl bottle at BeerHouse Craft&Kitchen, Vilnius. Pours deep golden to orange with a white head. Mild fruity and hoppy aroma, light citrus and hints of tropical fruits. Moderate sweet with fairly low flavour intensity and a pleasant bitterness. Pretty much as written on the back "Easy pale ale". Easy to drink, but also quite easy to forget.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty weak citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty weak citrus hoppy finish.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is wheat, some citrus, mild toffee and some green apples. Flavour is citrus, some wheat, mild green apples as well as some slight yeasty notes. Some grainy/mashlike sweetness to it as well.

Bottle at Ministarstvo, Nis. If this is really meant to be intro to wonderful world of IPAs then okay. It’s something in between IPA and lager, dog-cat as we would call it back in Slovakia. Off you go..

500ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Mostly clear amber/copper colour with a frothy beige head. Aroma: caramel, hops, light pine, citrus, earthy. Taste: biscuity malt, caramel, earthy hops, citrus, moderate bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy wheat, light floral light banana. The flavour is acid citrus with a crisp, watery, light crushed banana, light citrus, yeasty bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle, 500 ml at Pivopija, NBGD. Pours hazy orange with medium white head. Citrus, some hops, malty, sweet, caramel, yeast. Light to medium bodied. Bland and watery. something probably went wrong here.
