Bottle at and thanks to JF, 26/03/16. Hazed amber golden with a decent off White head. Nose is caramel malt, bitter orange, tangerine, toasted bread. Taste comprises orange pith, faint pine, straw, caramel, bubblegum. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of hop bitterness. Ok drinkable affair but lower end for style.

pours a hazy pale orange with a small quickly disappearing white head and no lacing. aroma of weed, sprucy hops, banana, cloves. flavour of spruce, bubblegum, green tea. not too sweet. a nicely hopped aromatic weizen. reminds me of schneider hopfenweisse (tap5), but with not so much alcohol.

Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is peachy hops and a grainy sweetness. Taste is again peachy hops and a heller-bock-typical sweetness. Refreshing. Medium carbonation. Not bad.

50cl bottle from Sunninghill Wine Merchants. A cloudy pale amber pour with a billowing cream cream head; clove aroma; rather watery in the mouth with a sweet grainy body, some banana; and a lightly spiced finish. Not bad, but rather understated.

NRW-Flasche: Orangey coloured, big and stable white head; sweetish-bitter fruity nose (exotic fruits, oranges, tangerines) with a slight malty and herbal touch; mild to moderate sweet(!) and bitter flavour, quite light bodied, quite smooth; shorter fruity and malty finish. A tame brew, not unpleasant, but very inoffensive…
