Description
The brewery is still a small family run operation and currently employs over 20 people. The business was set up by Shane and Alison Parr, with lots of help from Iain and Anne Reid (Alison’s parents) and Innes Reid (Alison’s brother), but we survive and thrive on the great crew we have working with us.
Our brewing plant capacity has been upgraded over the years and now is now 100 brewer’s barrels (28,800 pints) per week, which allows us to meet demand during peak periods. In 2013 we constructed a purpose built, energy efficient brew house, and we’re always looking for ways to improve our environmental impact by saving water and energy.

500ml bottle from Everyman's. Hazed gold, with a large white head. A taste of home. Pleasantly fruity citrus nose. Lovely citrussy profile with gentle canteloupe notes, nicely integrated hop presence, just fruity enough. Very nice.

Clear and golden, maybe just a hint of chill haze, with a frothy white head and a fruity aroma. Light to medium bodied, taste is a blend of sweet biscuit malt and fleshy fruit, notes of grapes coming through, has a mild citrusy bitterness to it before finishing very dry.

Gravity cask at day 2 of the 41st Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 03/12/2025.
Golden blonde with a white head.
Nose is grass, orange zest, melon, soft malts.
Taste comprises tangerine, citric tinged straw, melon, light breads.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
Okay pale ... would have liked more expression from the listed hops.

Cloudy milky gold with a bubbly white head and a mellow stone fruit aroma. Spritzy and fresh with juicy fruit up front before a big hop kick comes in, impressive grapefruit bitterness follows, some coconut and a hint of pine maybe ahead of a dry finish.
