Description
We have been producing CAMRA award winning cider on site at our family home in Banham, Norfolk, since 1989. The ciders themselves tend to be still and clear, which is the Eastern Counties style.

All our ciders are fermented by the naturally occurring yeast, nothing is added or taken away. So basically, it's really good for you...

Bladder bag at GBBF'19, day four, 09/08/19. Very light haze on a golden yellow pour with a white cap that soon veers edgeward and onto its death. Nose is apple core, funk, straw, wooded tones. Taste comprises orchard wood, apple peel, vinous trace, tangy orchard fruits, hay bale. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Decent.

BIAB sample courtesy of Grumbo, from 28th East Anglian Beer & Cider Fest, Bury St. Edmonds. Cheers Graham! Golden colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of astringent barnyardy apple. Taste is sweetish, apple, hay, straw, oil, with some tartness, mousey notes, and cardboard hints. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry slightly cardboardy biscuity finish. OK

Box sample, thanks to Grumbo! Pours a generally clear gold, aroma suggests a light astringency, gentle sour, sweet juice. Taste brings solid, biting astringency to the fore with a sour tang, soft tannin, medium sweet juice and a touch of sulphur balancing things out. Interesting rough cider.

Bag in a box at the Apple Tap, Grantham. Light yellow and impressively flat. Lots of oak and cider vinegar in the aroma. Tangy sour taste with an incredible amount of woody flavours. Long bitter/sour finish. More vinegar in the aftertaste. An intense experience, not for the faint-hearted or scrumpy-phobic. Still, I’ve had better, and the intensity doesn’t equate to complexity.
