Bottled at NK Ölbar, Stockholm. Cloudy copper colour, small head. Fruity nose with estery pears, caramel and cognac. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, estery pears in cognac, vanilla. Honey and white pepper heat in the finish. Interesting.

Bottled at NK Ölbar, Stockholm. Near black, mid sized head. Light licotice aroma with notes of spruce. Dryish with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Salted licorice, ligjt citrus. Rediny bitter finish. Not very aromatic.

Comment: Just one month old, perhaps a bit too young. Doesn’t taste like a Barley Wine.

Aroma: Vanilla, raspberry, honey, alcohol.
Body: Full body, low carbonation.
Flavour: Dominated by chocolate, sweet, vanilla, some alcohol, roasted malt, liquorice.
Comment: Varies a lot between batches. This rating is from the first batch, second batch I tried was much worse. Have not tried it a third time, might update the score then to better reflect the long term quality of the beer.

Bottled at S:ta Clara Bierhaus, Stockholm. Cloudy copper/amber, rich firm head. Huge hop aroma with earthy strawberry, grapefruit perls and tea. Mid sweet with solid body and well rounded mouthfeel. In your face style hoppinesd, murky, earthy deep citrus peel flavours. Balanced bitter finish. Impressive debute beer!
