Can, Belmont Station. Golden-amber. Bright, with a thin head. Nose is chewy chrystal malts, with piney hop. Old school Cali-style IPA. Hop character is slghtly cheesy. On the palate, it’s woody and a bit chewy, again with rich malts. Lots of bitterness, too, including some from the evident alcohol.

On tap. Bright yellow and well carbonated. Not much aroma at all. Light malt flavor but moderately bitter hops. This i better than the average American yellow lager.

Bottle from Safeway in Bend. Dark amber pour with small, soapy head. Fruity, floral aroma, candy, soap. Taste switches gears and brings the malts to the front, slightly dry and earthy. Dryness and bitterness lingers on the palate.

Bottle from Safeway in Bend. Pale golden, clear, nice fluffy head. Muted grainy aroma. Taste picks up a bit though. Clean, crisp and dry. Pretty accurate.
