Description

Focussing on "the good side of life" is what Big Belly Brewing is all about. We love things a little bigger, going the extra mile, adding something special, being more creative. But above all, we love things in life that are a bit more fun.

All our beers are well balanced and made with premium "The Swean" malts, so we get the full, distinctive beers that we are proud of. After coming up with a special touch, we design a legendary character for every beer. Finally, we write and add an amusing story about the character and the beer. That's how we make one of the most fun things, drinking beer, even more fun.

Ohjee. Dit is geen fijne IPA. Scherp, medicinaal bitter. Geen enkele fruitigheid. Valt me tegen. De kleur is wel leuk.

Smell of cinnamon, roasted malt. Black colour, short brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee. Fizzy carbon, slightly oily palate. Surprisingly light body.

Clear golden colour with fluffy head. Aroma is quite sweet with tropical fruits like mango and some orange too. Flavour has a nice bitter hit with lots of citrus pith.

Smell of syrup, chocolate. Dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, roasted malt, creamy biscuits. Very sweet, heavy body. Soft carbon, viscous texture.

A black beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has quite strong roastiness of coffee, natural coffee, nuts, hint of chocolate and alcohol. Taste has coffee, chocolate, nuts, vanilla, sweetness. Full bodied, but not stickyness. There are some interesting aromatic notes of nuts, propably from tonka beans. Sweet dessert.

330ml. can. @home, 06/04/2021 [#3.875 Global - #258 Netherlands - #1 Big Belly Brewing (My Brewery #94 from the Netherlands)] 6.9% 2021 edition. Pours orange with a medium off-white head. Mostly lacing. Aroma: sweet oranges, perfume and light honey. Taste: bittersweet oranges and floral. Bit too sweet. Flat. Next one please!
