Description
Focussing on "the good side of life" is what Big Belly Brewing is all about. We love things a little bigger, going the extra mile, adding something special, being more creative. But above all, we love things in life that are a bit more fun.
All our beers are well balanced and made with premium "The Swean" malts, so we get the full, distinctive beers that we are proud of. After coming up with a special touch, we design a legendary character for every beer. Finally, we write and add an amusing story about the character and the beer. That's how we make one of the most fun things, drinking beer, even more fun.

Bottle from Jan Linders, Easter 2026 beers. Color: Murky orangish brown, thin beige head. Aroma: Malty, dark dried fruit. Taste: Malty, dark dried fruit, raisins, creamy mouthfeel, some vanilla and caramel notes. Hoppy backbone. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. Ok but little complexity.

330ml can (only 11% ABV), this Holy Quadruple is the last beer of a mini tasting session with myself on 10th February 2026, the sixth beer. No idea where it came from, most likely Valkenburg. Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass, it looked moody and mean, red hue to the teak coloured body, the off white head leaving as soon as I stopped pouring, just a collar clinging to the glass. Red berries and a sugary sweetness at first, plums and raisins follow, this is a sweet one and most likely a head ache giver. My 100th beer of 2026 and I'm enjoying the boozy thrust and looking forward to tomorrow mornings tribulations.

Murky reddish brown with a small tan head. Dark fruits, raisin, plum, malty, oak, spice, cognac, alcohol. Finish is full of dark fruits and raisin. Seems like a solid path but a bit rocky.

Marrón muy oscura de enorme espuma beige, muy cremosa y duradera. Aroma a bizcocho, notas especiadas, cilantro, cardamomo, vainilla. En boca pasa suave, muy cremosa, floja de gas y con escaso amargor. Sabor explosivo de maltas de trigo y muchas especias, donde sobresalen de nuevo la vainilla y el cardamomo. Diferente. Sabrosa. Interesante y muy bien hecha.

Tried at home. Reddish-brown color a bit, mahogany red, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, distant caramel notes, quite bitter as I like it, bourbon notes, but mostly vanilla and booze. Quite nice. I like it.
