Description
Here at Green Man Cider we believe in doing things properly. Our cider is made only from top quality apples carefully sourced from orchards in Somerset and North Devon. Our apples are selected from traditional sweet, bittersweet, bittersharp, and sharp varieties and given time to ferment slowly to ensure a great balance of flavour and the kind of depth and complexity that you just won't find in factory "cider". Always 100% juice, made with love.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, bubbly head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, fruity, funk hint. Taste is sweetish, appley, ripe fruit, some funk, alittle tartness and drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium dry balanced tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bag-in-a-box at GBBF 25. Clear light gold. No head. Aroma is low key. Very much so in fact. A hint of apple sourness. Light-medium sour with a sugary edge. Light. Thin. Flat carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Not particularly interesting.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers GB. Aroma of tangy apple with mucky undertone. When first poured there was orange peel but this faded as time went on. Taste of tangy apple with light carbonation. Very easy to drink. Would definitely have again.

Bottle from Scrattings entitled 'Naturally Dry'. Light misty gold, brief fizz. Aroma of green apple skins and flesh. Taste is light apple juice, musk, and then it gets very dry although helped by a fairly light body for 6.5%. Bittersweet although more on the bitter sour side. Not too keen on this one although its not terrible.

Bottle from Scrattings. Clear gold with circular bubbled retention. Aroma of apple cores, wood, light vanilla, touch of damp cardboard. Taste has a slight acidity, apple juice comes through quite fruity, definitely dry wood notes, light vanilla, mellow in finish but with a nice bitterness and spicy hints. Medium body with a nice tingly carbonation. Really nice taste to this.
