It’s flippantly known as the theatre of beer because the brewing area is in full view of our taproom. Visitors can watch our brewers hard at work making up to 20,000 pints a week and get a real idea of the work involved in brewing our high quality craft beers.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy pale straw coloured pour with a trace of white head; herbal aroma that really clears the airways; fresh fruity taste, some stone fruit and some citrus; then a clean bitter finish.

Frothy off white head on hazy pale lemon coloured body. Zesty citrus aroma. Medium bodied, soft with a sharp dry back. Bitter citrus, herbal, lemon & grapefruit tastes with a hoppy pithy finish. Refreshing.

330ml can, bought at Docks Beers, and shared with Finn on the train from Grimsby to Newark. Huge white head over a cloudy golden body, spotty lacing. Moderate tropical fruity nose, mango, and dough. Flavoured with herbal hops, orange, and apricot. Bittersweet fruity endnotes. Satisfying. (15.10.2022).

Modest smell of dusty hops and pale malts. Moments of grain and noble hops to the taste buds. Short, distant bitter finish. Easy going. (15.10.2022).

Inviting aromas of orange. Sappy orange to the taste character, juicy malts beneath. A piney touch to a light bitter finish. Likeable. (15.10.2022).

330ml can kindly shared by Finn. Bubbly white head over a next to clear pale golden body, rings of lace down the glass. Citric notes to a grassy aromas. Hay, grass, and a bite of grapefruit to the flavour character. Drying close, ripe fruits. Fair enough. (Grimsby 15.10.2022).

440ml can kindly shared by Finn at Docks Beer. Covering white head, bright golden body, fair lacing. Dried fruity aromas, including apricot. Blended taste profile of apricot, stewed fruits, and cereal malts. Long-lived dried fruity tail, with warmth from the alcohol. Tasty, bit heavy to drink though. (Grimsby 15.10.2022).

1/3 pint, on keg at Docks Beer. Shared with Finn. Upper part lacing from a stable fawn-coloured head. Pitch black in the glass. Roasted malty aromas, scent of dark chocolate. Fine malt-forward flavours of nuts, earth, and chocolate, lactose sweetness beneath. Ends with roasted malt, dry and not overly sweet. Likeable. (Grimsby 15.10.2022).
