Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with minimal white head and good lacing. Floral hops to the fore in the aroma alongside some generic citrus. It the mouth it is briefly sweet and juicy but some bitterness creeps in very quickly. Flavour of stone fruits and oats with some hints of oranges and pepper. Finish is sweet and slightly dry. It’s reasonable.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. There’s summer fruits in the aroma. In the mouth it starts off sweet and juicy with apples as the main flavour. After a while it becomes quite bitter with marmalade, resin and citrus. Finish is slightly sweet however. Not bad at all.
