On tap at the Black Lodge brewery Liverpool. Clear pale gold lasting white head. Sweaty raspberry aroma. Challenging or just not very good? Vague salt finish. Vague strawberry raspberry redcurrant flavour touch of sour. Not great. Some sweetness. Bit unfocused. Hmm. Someones jumped the shark here.

On tap at the Black Lodge brewery Liverpool. Haze amber brown colour. Spicy aroma. Very perfumed. Some condition. Some character. It’s very floral funny when i add the seeds to say rice boiling i get more spice and herb. On beers its more floral spice. Some malt backbone. Ok if a bit floral for me.

Fresh, tasty and pleasant ale.
Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Solid lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an ok soft carbonation. Creamy texture. Pleasant balance between sweetness and bitterness. Pleasant hoppy, fruity and a fine malty back.
[On tap at Clove Hitch / 23 Club in Liverpool, England]
