Description
Bexar County Brewery was born out of the need for newer more creative beers to be produced in England. The days of only having a handful of styles of beers to drink are ending, and we are part of that change. A beer revolution is occurring, and I am proud to be on the front lines.

Please have a look around. Here you will find loads of useful information (and plenty of rubbish as well) about the brewery as well as updates on beers being produced and where you may find them.

Cheers!

17/01/2020. Cask at the 11th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours almost black with a small light tan head. Aroma of malt, toast, dark fruit and chocolate. Moderate sweetness, medium plus roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight watery texture, soft finish. Good looking beer but it's not Steve.

Tried at the Stoneworks Peterborough. As Son of Papa Steve. Deep off black colour with a tan head. Aroma slight fruity rich malty and spice. The Belgian yeast really makes this a difference. Taste bittersweet balanced and a hint of tart fruit. Full body. Wow

Free samples, one from cask and one from keykeg, at the 46th Cambridge Beer Festival, 2019. Served in a plastic glass. Cloudy orange colour, white head. Yeasty and fruity aroma from both, more fruity from cask. Sweet, yeasty and smoky flavour with notes of berries. Not my cup of tea at all.
