Bottle from Tipplers, Bewdley. Almost black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and light hoppy - fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 110219

Bottle from Tipplers, Bewdley. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a sweet caramel finish.

Cask at the White Lion, Bridgenorth. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, light fruits, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, malty, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A lovely English bitter and very swssionable. I could drink this all night long.

7th Nov 2018; hand-pulled cask pint in the White Lion, Bridgnorth Shropshire. Red hue to the amber/brown body, beige crown on top. Malty front to this traditional Bitter with caramel notes to the fore in both the aroma and taste. Calms down sweetness wise mid-sip, as the hops kick in.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, nutty, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181017]

19th Oct 2018; half-pint, gravity pour at the 4th CAMRA beer festival in Shifnal, Shropshire. This dark Mild was lovely; deep brown body, light tanned head. Malty, semi-bitter and an old school Mild in all aspects.

17/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours pale gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, grass and malt. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Light to moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.
