Bottle from Tipplers, Bewdley. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a sweet caramel finish.

Cask at the White Lion, Bridgenorth. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, light fruits, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, malty, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A lovely English bitter and very swssionable. I could drink this all night long.

7th Nov 2018; hand-pulled cask pint in the White Lion, Bridgnorth Shropshire. Red hue to the amber/brown body, beige crown on top. Malty front to this traditional Bitter with caramel notes to the fore in both the aroma and taste. Calms down sweetness wise mid-sip, as the hops kick in.

19th Oct 2018; half-pint, gravity pour at the 4th CAMRA beer festival in Shifnal, Shropshire. This dark Mild was lovely; deep brown body, light tanned head. Malty, semi-bitter and an old school Mild in all aspects.
