Hand-pulled half-pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates Shropshire on 5th Oct 2018. Clean golden/blonde body, white crown of foam on top. Citrus lead in both the aroma and taste; just another citrus blonde, fed up with them and this was fairly thin body depth wise too. Scored kindly.

500ml bottle from Co-Op, Ironbridge. Drunk watching England vs Tunisia, World Cup ‘18. Pours clear gold, frothy white head. Aroma has pleasant fliral citrus, pale malt. Taste is light, bitter fliral, drying, modest hop presence, straw, some distant mirage-like lemon notes. Straightforward unfussy golden ale.

Handpull cask at the Marquis Wellington, Leicester. Golden brown, clear with a tight white head and lots of lacing. Dried grass, pear skin, TCP in the uncompromising aroma. Tastes quite astringent among the fruity bittersweet hop notes. Slightly acrid flavours in the aftertaste but there's a pleasant floral flavour buoying it up. Not my cup of tea but nice to find this here.
