Cask at Hopwoods, Preston (not yet listed on RateBeer). Pours “bitter brown” with a medium sized foamy off-white head. Malts are the mainstay of the aroma, plus some hints of nuts. In the mouth it oscillates between sweet and bitter with malts, nuts and caramel plus traces of autumn fruits. Finish is dry and nutty. This is a reasonable old school bitter – quite tasty given the low strength.

Keg at IMBC 2023. Pours copper with a cream foam. Aroma: very malty, caramel, toffee, cherry, whiff of peak smoke. Moderate sweet & bitter, quite rich. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Gravity cask at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 29th September 2023. Cloudy yellow with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Fresh lemon citrus aroma. Lush citrus blend of grapefruit and tangerine in-mouth and an unsweetened orange finish. Full bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

440ml can inside the Abingdon Street Market (Blackpool) on 16th September 2023. A Cold IPA apparently. Clouded light golden body, billowing white head. Hops abound with a fruity leaning throughout.
