Cask-conditioned at the Blue Boar, Leicester 11/3/2017. Dark brown colour, with a slight, beige, head. Aroma of milk chocolate, treacle and berry fruits. Flavour was also sweet, with toasty malts, more chocolate and rich sugar notes, before a gentle finish. Excellent.

Wakatu and Pacific Gem hops. Light haze on this gold - amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malt, smooth and mildly sweet. Fairly bitter hops, bitter floralness and pine. Bitter citric peel. Smooth finish. Long strong bitter linger. Feels like a lot of boil hop here. A bitter bastard but goes down alright.
