Keg at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Light gold, a little bit hazy with a tight creamy white head. Lemony aroma, a little bit eggy (not sulphrous) with grassy notes. Bittersweet taste, light citrus ending with a medicinal bitterness in the finish. Watery body, heavy carbonation. A bit on the bland side but drinkable.

Handpull cask at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Its dark brown and a little translucent with a small beige head. Aroma is nutty and slightly smoky with notes of dark chocolate. Taste is sweet but surprisingly light, with a watery finish. Aftertaste, nothing at all. Body is like beer-flavoured water. What started as amazing has ended in disappointment, so all in all fairly average.

Handpull cask at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Mid- to dark gold, hazy with a thin white head. Enticing aroma of apricot, grapefruit, melon, floral notes. Taste is sweet with more apricot and a good hit of pineapple, with a bit of bitterness in the finish. Slightly medicinal in the aftertaste. One of Framework's beers that has really come off well.

500ml bottle taken away from the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester and drunk at home. Pours a murky mid- to dark gold with a film of white head. Fruit juice on the scent - I'm getting grapefruit and melon and maybe a touch of apricot - with a light sourness. Bittersweet taste, again quite fruity with some residual sourness. Very short finish. Slight body with soft carbonation. A decent beer but not as good as Semper #1.
