500ml bottle taken away from the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester and drunk at home. Pale golden, hazy with a ring of white head and a good bit of lacing. Fruity, sourish smell, some white grape, some boiled sweet. Sweet taste with tropical fruit notes and yeast in prominence, with a drainy bitterness in the finish. Soft carbonation. Little bit dull.

500ml bottle bought as takeaway from the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Dark and murky golden brown with a touch of off-white head. Strong malt aroma with notes of iced tea, apricot, white grapefruit pith, some marmalade. The initial sweetness in the taste is short-lived, giving way to a harsh bitterness. Bready malt notes in the aftertaste with notes of grapefruit juice. Decent enough but not one of their better beers.

Taken away from the Two-Tailed Lion and drunk at home. Dark olive gold, cloudy with a good-sized white head. Aroma of pineapple and melon with notes of white grapefruit. Taste is sweet, sweet, sweet with the fruit flavours prominent throughout. Finish is fairly short. Silky mouthfeel with low carbonation. Delicious. They nailed this.

500ml bottle taken away from the Two-Tailed Lion. Dark gold and clear with a small ring of white head. Medicinal aroma, heavy on the ammonia with some overripe citrus. Bittersweet taste, slightly sulphurous with notes of marmalade, iced tea and white grapefruit. Bitter hop overtakes the sweetness in the long finish. While it grew on me, I really struggled with this one.

Bought to take away from the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester and drunk at home. It pours burnt umber, cloudy with a wisp of white head. Light aroma, some caramel, dried grass, fresh bread and TCP. Initially sweet, the taste carries a well-judged hoppiness near the end of the sip. Toffee chews and light orange peel in the aftertaste. Watery body, a bit gritty, low carbonation. It's a fairly uninspiring beer for Framework's return to brewing, but it is easy drinking for a weeknight.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy-frothy head. It has an easy supping strength, is hoppy-fruity with a mid bitterness.

Keg @ Fighting Cocks, Oakengates. Hazed gold appearance, foamy white head. Fruity nose, some nice citric tropics emerging. Continues to taste, smooth textures, nice citrus, pine hints with tropical moments. Hop presence could be brighter, but generally it retains a nice sessionable hazy IPA character.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thick creamy-frothy head. It has a hoppy dry taste and is mildly malty, but mostly hoppy in its nose. A decent session beer.

Sample courtesy Grumbo. Small head with short duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, vanilla, caramel, coffee, vegetables, licorice and hops. Nice coffee and vanilla finish.
