Cask at the Merchant, Canary Wharf, 19/12/19. Murky orange yellow with an off white head. Nose is rather odd ... slightly cheesy and funky, orange peel, tangy citric rinds ... weird! Taste is better comprising bitter orange, mineral bite, grass melon, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Passable number at best ... rather disjointed overall.

Half-pint, cask ale at Alehouse. Shared with Finn. Naked surface, clingy lacing, misty dark golden coloured body. Bread and juicy malts on the nose. Blended taste of fruity bread and pears. Ends bittersweet. Fair enough. (Reading 20.10.2019)

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy head. Hoppy with a malty-hop nose. It has a hint of sweet tropical fruit, but all is too understated.

Keg tap at the brewery. Mid-gold and as hazy as expected, with a small loose ring of white head. Notes of fruit cup, mamgo kulfi, vanilla. Tastes sweet initially, with a balancing but not overpowering bitterness kicking in quite quickly, leading to a satisyimg long finish. More mango and fior di latte in the aftertaste. Light to medium carbonation. Lovely.

Keg at the brewery. Caramel/orange and hazy with a loose ring of white head. Strong notes of orange peel in the aroma, although I'm getting less of the apricot. Bittersweet taste with citrus juice sour, notes of overripe apricot here. Too acidic on the finish and not enough balance for my taste but all in all this is a decent enough wheat beer with lots of citrus.

Handpull cask at the brewery. Listed as 4.0%. Dark brown, a bit thin looking, with a large beige head. Roast malt and coffee grounds mingle with hoppy notes of lime leaves, pine needles and a touch of mint. Sweet taste with a gentle piney hoppiness ushering in notes of bitter chcolate and espresso. Too bitter in the finish for my liking, and the body is pretty watery, but all in all this is a cracking hoppy porter.

Handpull cask at the brewery. Yellowiah gold and a little bit hazy with a small uneven head. Plastic notes along with lemon, papaya and pomelo. Bitter taste with a strong acidity in the finish. I struggled with this one, didn't really feel like there was a lot to recommend it.
