500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.4%. Very dark brown to black colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Moderate aroma of roast malts and mild coffee. Flavour also of malts and coffee, hints of unsweetened liquorice, some sourish notes that are probably not intended to be there. Low bitterness.

April 2020: Malty aroma. Malty flavour too, notes of Belgian ale yeast, brown bread and brown sugar, but not very sweet. Some sourish hints. Earthy hops in the finish.

Aroma of brown malts, toast, brown kandij sugar, dark dried fruits, mild spices. Smooth flavour, medium sweet, with the same elements as the aroma, also a slight acidity (probably not intended).

Bottle. Almost clear amber body with a nice, dense beige head. Aroma has malt, toast and light roasted coffee. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, toast, dry fruit and moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Decent.

Bottle. Dark brown body with a dense beige head. Aroma is light malt and vegetables, not very pleasant. Flavor is medium sweet, and slightly sour, harsh malt. Not particular nice and rather boring.
