Botte from crete. clear yellow, no head. aroma is cucumber, flowers flavor is malts, flowers, good bitter balance. traditional ale, but very well done with great balance and a well crafted bitterness that matches the sweet malts well. Very conventional, not us hoppy, not belgian yeasty, just sweet malts ale with ample bitter balance.. but very well done.

3/7/2019. Bottle, surprise find at a small kiosk near Acropolis station, Athens. Pours golden with a modest just off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, citrus, hops and grass. Quite heavy sweetness with a little bitterness coming through. Moderate body, very oily texture, average carbonation. Getting more difficult to find new Greek breweries, this was number 63 and sadly not a highlight.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Ikariotissa [ΙΚΑΡΙΩΤΙΣΣΑ] Ale ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light fruity malt. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, floral, light fruity malt, vegetable notes. Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly diminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, fruits, hops and flowers. Sweet finish.

From bottle at home. Clear Golden color with white head. Malty and light hoppy aroma, not intense, grainy, some floral notes, light grass, some citrusy fruity notes. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma with some herbal spicy notes. Light, thin to oily body with soft carbonation.
