Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up online. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a fizzy white head. Tart and a little dusty, some berries, low acidity. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Dry finish, more tart berries, lemon, some musty hay. So so overall.

Hazy blond with lasting lacy head. Aroma and flavour have lots of juicy tropical fruit notes. Lychee, pineapple. Light citrus peel bitterness.

Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting 31/10/2018. Many thanks! A translucent golden oranger coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is spicy lemon, wheat, tangy lemon rind, light perfume, Flavour is comosed of semi sweet, citrus oil, lemon rind, wheaty grains, perfume lemon, pithy, . Palate is grainy, frothy carboantion, Not bad. Solvent alcohol.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to Leighton, 31/10/18 Light haze on a golden pour with a decent off white covering. Nose is straw, orange peel, grass, lemon rind, light spice. Taste comprises caramel, pineapple, light spice, dusty fruits, orange peel, biscuit, sweet malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Pretty decent for the style despite this being a little old.

Bottle shared in London - sourced via online shop. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy white head. Interesting stuff, plenty of grainy malts, alcohol, crackers, orange peel. Medium to full bodied with massaging carbonation. Warming finish, some grassy bitterness, more husky grains, lemon rind. So so.

Hazy orange beer (not very pink then), good white head. Palate is fairly dry and smooth, decent fine carbonation. Light dry malts, not that sweet at all. Little floral hop bitterness and orange peel sits uneasily alongside modest strawberry and raspberry. Fairly bitter dry finish. Doesn't work for me. Too dry and hops and berries, well they just don't work.

Light floral lemon and lemon sherbet. Dry finish. Whisper of esters. Okay. Wanted more of the Lemon Drizzle. Much more.

Black beer. Lively fizzy head which soon disappears. Smell is mostly coffee with a touch of the aniseed, with the latter coming through more strongly in the taste. There's a decent whack of it along with malt, coffee and a touch of dark chocolate but the main thing for me here is that there's just not much body to this. With a bit more body a relatively straightforward flavour would have been given something else. This is a bit disappointing.

[ As Ticketybrew Coffee Anise Porter ].Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, burnt, spicy. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration, malt bitter and spicy bitter, roasted, sweet malt, dark malt, spicy - anise. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151208] 5-3-5-3-10
