Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Cloudy dirty-amber with next to no head. Has a floral-herbal aroma and taste with pepper evident, but it is inoffensive enough.

Bottle. Dram Shop, Sheffield. Pale amber. Soft haze. A few floaters. Massive, bubbly, off white head. Nose has brown sugar. Clove. Floral hop. Some citrus. Light toffee. Bit of ripe peach. Aroma covers all bases here. Taste is sweet and fruity, with some Belgian, yeasty character. Smooth mouthfeel. Pretty full and a little chewy. Foamy carbonation. Finish is light, fruity bitter, with a fair amount of dryness on the close. Nice one.

Manchester Beer Festival 2018. Very dark ale. Its saltedness is part of dominant roasted malts very evident in both aroma and taste. The caramel subdues this to an extent, but is not very stated.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Beer Hawk. Gusher! Slow but steady. Pours murky orange-gold with a lasting, frothy pure white head. Ripening citrus fruits in the aroma, some pine, melon, bready pale malts. Medium sweet flavour with more piney character, restrained bitterness, ripe and lightly jammy citrus, hints of papaya, peach. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Oily and resinous to finish, subtly warming, with more pale bread, mild bitter pine, citrus, orange in particular. Overall, much, much better than I was expecting. Quite an enjoyable brew.

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Smooth light malts, some light creamy sweetness. Tangy orange hops with lesser spicy orange. Mild orange peel and pine. Some vodka alcohol. More mild spice on the light dry finish. Curious combo, the hops drown out the subtler aspects of the tripel, but you can still feel some tripel character here. Quite enjoyable. And boosty!

(Bottle) after month in the cellar, beer foams away from the bottle like the wildest wild ale. Bright, very dark brown colour with an extremely tall, brown head; aroma of roast, sour jam, sweet chocolate; sweet and sour flavour, long light tart finish. Another proof that throwing in all the favorite ingredients does not necessarily produce a great beer.

Cask @ Paramount, Manchester. Lightly hazed amber in colour with a small head. Its marmalade is stated enough and not overbearing. There's also a small spiciness.
