Cask@The Crescent Inn, Ilkley. Amber coloured beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is grassy with citrus and gentle hops. The flavour is watery with some citrus and dryness. Overall an average beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours light amber from the can. The frothy head slowly fades. Aroma is grapefruit, mango and caramel. Taste is uniformly bitter with the malts just not getting through for me. Palate is “squelchy”, overall body is medium with a crisp carbonation. Overall not bad but not quite balanced for my taste.

Cask @ The Grove, Huddersfield. Light textured (feels thin but isn't), black with an off-white head. It's crisp with light roasted malts in a mainly dark-malt ale.
