Cask@GBBF2011. Deep amber colour, close to black, small white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, dark dry fruits, some wood and mild syrupy notes. Flavour is dark fruits, some bitterness, mild resiny and liquorice notes as well as some wooden notes. Pleasantly balanced.

From cask. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty and breadish. Bitter, dry malty and dark roasted flavoured. Bitter and dark roasted finish. Ends dry and slight bitter. Breadish.

Cask at the bow bar ... This was the last out of the barrel but asked for it anyway ... Nice deep brwon colour ... SLight vinegar sour nose ... Wonderfull sweet caramel butter toffee malt ... with just a tinge of sharp vinegar in the final linger. I suspect the vinegar wasnt meant to be there but i contrasted the sweet maltyness beautifully. But with our without it it was real tasty and easy drinking

Cask gravity at Kent BF. Gold, thin white head. Very fruity aroma. Tapioca and semolina flavour in mouth. Not to my taste.

Cask gravity at London Drinker BF 07. Copper colour with no hed. Diacetyl. Horrible, buttery and tastes as if it is not fully attenuated 0.6/5.0 Re-rate Cask gravity at Kingston BF 2007. Pale chestnut, disappearing bubbly beige head. Diacetyl aroma. It’s a normal bitter with buttery diacetyl, moderate hop finish

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by caramel. The flavor is of diacethyl and burnt plastic.
