Clear golden color with a fine white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Pleasant balance between bitterness and sweetness. Decent tail and a semi dry texture. Mild citric, some pine, herbal and malty. Ok and very session able beer.

Tap at the Pitt Cue (brewpub), Devonshire Square. Pours mid to dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of dark fruit, malt, wood, whiskey, chocolate, prune and a touch sour. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of sour. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Easily my favorite of the 6 beers sampled here today.

Keg at the Pittcue, Devonshire Square. Pours hazy pale gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma of hop, fruit, straw and floral notes. Light sweetness, heavy bitterness. Light body, watery texture, quite high carbonation. Bitter fruit finish a little unpleasant but it’s clean and crisp.
