Cask at GBBF 2013. It pours amber with a small white head. The nose is earthy, wood, sweaty, spice, farmyard and leather. The taste is pine, resinous, good deal of bitterness, earth, alcohol kick, varnish, underlying caramel, peppery and leaf with a bitter finish. Medium+ body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Tastes better than it smells anyway. Nice bitterness.

Pretty strong taste. Somewhat boozy, vanilla, anise, dark chocolate, earthy bitter, a bit dark fruity flavor. A little strong but not bad.

Tap @ Blue Corn Santa Fe Southside. Pours a clear golden appearance with a white head. Somewhat spicy, lightly piney, citrusy hoppy, herbal/floral aroma. Nicely toasted malty, straw, spicy, orange citrusy flavor. This is tasty but hard to classify. It uses potent American hops, wheat/pils/crystal malts and is brewed with a lager yeast. Tasty nonetheless.
