Draught @ the brewery. Extremely hazy dark yellow looking like orange juice, foamy whitish head, low carbonation, melon-unripe mango aroma, medium bitter unripe mango-melon taste with tangerine and coriander/mint flavor, smooth thin body, long medium bitter finish. Sharp flavor profile.

Flasche bei whole Foods, Manhattan. Sehr trübes Gelb, wenig Schaum. Aroma: Grapefruit , Frucht, Orange, Hopfen. Geschmack, mittlere süße, Orange, etwas scharf im Gaumen. Bitter. Cremiger Antrunk.

Draught @ the source. Hazy dark yellow looking like apricot juice with a foamy off-white head, faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste with pineapple and alcohol undertones, thin body, long orange peel finish with alcohol aftertaste. Boozy.

Draught @ the source. Clear golden with a small foamy whitish head, faint yeast aroma, medium carbonation, mildly salty earthy taste with typical Belgian yeast flavors, thin body, long finish. Enjoyable though somewhat lacking in flavor.

Bottle split at Fifth Hammer, Long Island City, 12/04/23. Clear golden topped with a white head. Nose is funk, vanilla oak, green berry must, light honey, barnyard. Taste comprises funk, light acidic bite, gooseberries, tarte citric, wood must, lactic bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced acidic tang. Decent well balanced sour ... perhaps a touch on the sweet side with the honey presence but tidy none the less.

Cask at Fifth Hammer, Long Island City, 12/04/23. Hazed orange with an off white cap that clears to the edge. Nose is grass, melon, tangerine, straw. Taste comprises melon, straw, hint of mango, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Okay cask if a touch warm. Does not come over as a bitter ... more a hoppy golden blonde but I'm sure the brewer has a cousin called Dave who has a friend in Sheffield who once drank a bitter or some shit. Drank fine.
