Keg at Fifth Hammer, Long Island City, 12/04/23. Clear golden with a decent white cap, carbonation evident. Nose is herb, straw Belgian yeast esters, lemon rind. Taste comprises yeast esters, hedgerow, grains, stale bread, light white peppery spice, hint of caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay Belgo affair.

Keg at Fifth Hammer, Long Island City, 12/04/23. Hazed pink topped with a light crimson cap. Nose is prickly berries, funky aroma, jammy fruit, berry pips, raspberry yoghurt. Taste comprises sharp peach, berry pips, farmyard tones, balsa wood, damp straw, touch of peach yoghurt, lactic tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light pucker. Solid.
