Description
Last beer was released in July 2021 and common consensus is that this is the year the brewery should be set as closed.

Do note that due to the nature of the beers produced both BrewDog and other online retailers continued to sell the beers for many years after the closure.

Dedicated to exploring and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with fermentation, we are on a quest to redefine Wild and Sour beers, forever. With a purpose-built facility where craft and nature find harmony, we utilise wild yeasts and microbes from our environment and ingredients sourced from all around the world.

On tap at BrewDog Birmingham Pours hazy gold. Bit dull on a nose. Tastes sour, like really, juicy fruity bits. Lasting sourness. Oh yes. Nice.

Bottle at IMBC 2018 - Manchester. Pours clear yellow with a small, foamy white head. Tart and lemony, a little salty, with some pale wood, hay, pine needles, moderate acidity. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry and quenching on the finish, some tart peach, pear, quince, lemon. Fun.

Bottle picked up at BD Union Square. This is batch 024, BB 07/12/21. It pours crazy cloudy burnt orange / amber with a thick, bubbly white head. The aroma is musty, funk, barnyard brett character, bit of manure, wet hay, dirt, ripe tropical fruits, nectarine, over ripe peach, oak and some farmhouse bread. The taste is bitter, with a big old hit of brett in your face upfront, dirty barnyard funk, manure, spicy, tropical fruit vibe, pithy, zesty, grapefruit peel, old mango, oak, straw, touch of tannin with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Proper filthy brett, mixed with tropical fruits and a moreish bitterness. Combo works well in my opinion.
