Description
Last beer was released in July 2021 and common consensus is that this is the year the brewery should be set as closed.
Do note that due to the nature of the beers produced both BrewDog and other online retailers continued to sell the beers for many years after the closure.
Dedicated to exploring and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with fermentation, we are on a quest to redefine Wild and Sour beers, forever. With a purpose-built facility where craft and nature find harmony, we utilise wild yeasts and microbes from our environment and ingredients sourced from all around the world.

1/3 glass draft @ BrewDog Brussels. Golden citrus hazy, small white. Advertised as being extremely sour but it is very far from being really sour and it is surprisingly bland actually. Nose is spoiled lemon, low mineral, very mild lacto funk,… Very muted bland taste, bit watery, mineral, low lacto, diluted orange pulp juice maybe? Strawberry is virtually impossible to find, wonder if they cheapened on the amount of fruit in this. Diluted body, mineral. Overall shockingly bland especially given ingredients, style etc. Overprized and disappointing as many BrewDog beers.

Keg at BD Tower Hill. It pours lightly hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, strawberries and cream, rhubarb, light funk, must, barnyard and granny smith apple skin. The taste is dry, earthy, musty, rhubarb, strawberry, cranachan, pink marshmallow, some sharp lemony notes, musty, funk and cracker with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Almost would like a bit more funk or sourness to it. Well rounded. Nice stuff anyhow.

Keg at Brewdog seven dials. A light hazed pale yellow coloured pour with a fading white head. Aroma is spicy cutrus, melon, mellow funk, hay, pear. Flavour is composed of light rustic grains, wheat, pear, yogurt funk, spicy, musty white grape. Delicate and balanced. Palate is light tart, refreshing, highish carbonation.. Nice.
