Description
In 1926, after 75 years brewing, The Lion Brewery in the heart of Totnes ceased trading. At its peak, this successful brewery owned 26 pubs.

In 2013, a passionate group of Totnesians brought history back to life with the launch of the New Lion Brewery, a business that once again crafts award-winning beers and boosts the local local economy and in 2019 New Lion Brewery became 100% community owned. We began with trial brews and we’ve now got a state-of-the-art brewery that can produce 45 barrels a week, in our new home at Webbers Yard, Dartington.

Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Lightly hazy gold - amber beer. Small bubbly white head. Palate is light and dry. Mild fine carbonation. Light touch of sulphur in an otherwise pleasant beer. Good floralness and citric bitterness. Touch of hop spice. Fairly dry finish. Okay.
