A black beer with a reddish shine and a light brown though fast disappearing head. The aroma is weird of spruce, oranges, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, and eucalyptus. The flavor is weird too with the same notes as the aroma.

A deep red beer with a beutiful beige head. The aroma is dominated by spruce. The flavor is sweet with notes of spruce and ginger. The flavors really brings back memories of Christmas - but they are rather weird to have in a beer. I think this beer is more special than it is good, but definatly worth a try. I expected more.

Dark (almost black) ruby color. Tan, fluffy head. Nice aroma of marshmallow and liquorice. Roasty, sweet malt-flavour. Big bitterness with an espresso-dry finish but still very smooth and drinkable.

I think of this as the beer that allowed Liberty to happen. It's the classic California style which is a subdued, middle of the road ale. A good beer but there are other styles I prefer.

This beer has become a classic because of it's well balanced flavor and aroma. Thirst quenching smooth bitterness you can count on. Sample all the boutique beers you want and come back and try Liberty again and it still holds it's own nicely.

Slightly cloudy with scents of malts and a little hops.It is what it says...clean... almost too clean. Malty start with a slightly bitter palate. Not too bad but pretty generic.

Ahhh, anise! Poured dark red-brown, with a thin light tan head. Strong spice (anise) aroma deterred my tastebuds. Some malt complexity in the flavor, including hints of chocolate and coffee, but the anise is too strong.

I applaud the style. I applaud the wonderful lacing that speaks volumes for the quality brewing. But I can't, even out of sympathy, award this beer points for flavor. It just dosnet have much and what it has isnt good. Buttery, soapy, horribly boring. Drainpour.

Pours a cloudy beverage with huge amounts of citrus/apricot/orange/ manderine flavour. Malty scents with more citrus. Wouldn't drink more than one!
