On tap at What?s Brewing Beer Festival 2016, Stavanger. Pours black with beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark bread, dark malt. Tastes bitter with some sweetness, some sharp alcoholic edges. Could have been stored a bit longer. Still a good beer.

On tap @ What’s Brewing, Stavanger. Pours black, with a finger thick, rocky head. Aroma is dark roasted malts, with cocoa and coffee. Medium to full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is burned malts with dark caramel, burned sugar and wooden barrels.

Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish, unripe berries, sour grass, sap, paper, grain, wet hay, cereal, citrus acid. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish dry, light malts, sour berries, soda powder, citrus acid, grain, cereal, sap. Medium bitterness, slightly grainy and dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Fair enough, too fresh I guess.

Flaske fra Gulating, hjemme en fredagskveld: Salikatt - en herlig citrusaroma stiger opp fra mitt Duvel-glass mens jeg skjenker. Lett uklar kobbergylden farge med tett skum som varer. Superdelikat aroma og smak som varer og varer. Citrusfrukter de luxe. Et flott eksempel på at humledrevne øl nytes best så ferske som mulig.
