Can on a plane from Amsterdam to Portland. Aroma is fruity hops, citrus, soft tropical notes, some grapefruit and a touch of lemon, lightly pale malt. Flavour is slightly sweet with a dry bitter finish. Body is medium. Crisp and citrussy with a dry finish. Nice one.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is fruity hops with citrus, grapefruit, orange, light grainy, and a touch of pine. Flavour is light sweet and moderate to medium bitter with a dry-ish finish. Body is light to medium. A fine Sessionable IPA with a nice fruity hoppy aroma.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is mild fruity hops, soft tropical fruits, grapefruit, biscuity malt, orange, with a touch of pine resin. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Nice harmonious classic IPA, this must have blown some minds back in the day. Great balance, easy, I could knock back a few of these.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is juicy pineapple with fruity hops, citrus, and light notes of malt. Flavour is light sweet and above moderate bitter. Body is medium. Mild and easy with plenty of pineapple, could have been a bit more boldly hopped, but it's nice.

From tap at Stadscafé Het Refter, Zwolle. Wonderfully tart with an aroma of guava, tropical fruits, mango, and passionfruit. Nice refreshing sourness, medium body. Very tasty, scores extra points for drinkability.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Piney hop aroma with hemp, citrus, orange, pale malt, pine resin. Some grapefruit. Bittersweetish flavour. Medium body. The weedy hemp takes away from a fine bittersweet piney IIPA, but becomes more integrated after a couple of sips. Still, not a fan of hemp in beer.
