Classic old-school American brown ale, i.e. not very good. Lots of cascara and metallic tang, with a hint of water from copper pipes and cocoa. Finishes with lemon and a slight bit of pine. Would’ve loved this twenty-five years ago. Not so much now.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is tropical fruit passionfruit and guava mostly. Artificial? Flavor is super white sugar sweet with a tropical fruit aftertaste. There has to be additives to this to give this flavor profile. This is more of a cocktail than a beer. Way too sweet. No alcohol is felt.

Can from Loz's Beer Republic Bier Adventskalender Box, had this at Therme, Bad Kötzting, Friday 15th December 2023. Pours hazy gold with a large white head. Tbf this really does taste as the name suggests, sweet confectionery, jellies, tropical touches admittedly, but all told it's a bit too much, btw cannot get my head around this being 9.5%.
