Description
SweetWater brewery has been makin’ tasty brews in the heart of the south since 1997. What started as a pipe dream of two college buddies has turned into a dream job full of great adventures and lip-smackin’ beers. What would you expect from a couple of boys with more of a hankering for beers than for books.

355ml can. Pours deep amber, reddish, partially transparent, with a foamy head, fine and light cream. Aroma is intensely hoppy, malty and toffee, resinous. Body is partially dense, with average carbonation. Taste is bitter, pungent, but at the same time with quite some sweetness behind. Final is pretty long, intense, very hoppy.

Very basic, a mix or corn and grain sweetness with a touch of white bread and maybe a hop or two on the finish. Not much here, folks.

Somehow even more wretched than the Gummies Tropical IIPA. Nothing but white-bucket fruit punch flavoring and insanely cloying sweetness. Garbage beer.

Better than that godawful Gummies IPA Sweetwater is making. Thankfully not sweet; basic gentle wheat ale, lightly hopped, offering mild notes of vanilla and clove, with a bright orange finish. Too bad they went with “natural orange flavor” instead of actual orange. And fuck that Tennessee Vols can.
