Narsaq, 3921, Greenland
Description
QajaQ brewery is located in Narsaq close to Greenlands Icecap, where we harvest carefully our icebergs drifting outside the brewery. Probably the purest water mother nature can provide us with 1000-4000 years old icebergs (water). We carefully choose our malt, hops and local ingredients for our beers. We´re “mainly” a lager brewery but also enjoy a good ale every once in a while.
We´re a Greenlandic/Icelandic owned brewery with an American as head brewer and German as assistant brewer. Our main goal is to provide Greenland and the world with quality (locally) brewed beer and build up the knowledge in the country so they can learn how they can use their wonderful pure water.

5/2/2022. Bottle shared by Erik, huge thanks. As Angitikuloog Doppelbock. Pours clear amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is malty, biscuit, milk chocolate, toffee, nut, light herbal peppery edge. Medium plus sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Oily texture, soft carbonation. Warming, malted finish. Not bad.

330 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 5.0%. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of malts with some slightly sourish notes, a hint of chocolate. Roasty flavour, mid between dry and sweet, notes of strong bitter coffee and dark bitter chocolate, a hint of prunes, noticeable bittering hops in the finish.
