50cl Bottle from Beer Boutique. Dark brown colour, thin light-beige head. Aroma is fruity, dark fruits, malty, some jam, light roast, hint of hops. Flavour is medium sweet, light yeasty, dark fruits, light roasted malts, light hoppy bitter finish. Light bodied. Comes closer to a mild than a schwarz imo. OK-ish.

Cask at The Alma, Crystal Palace. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is toasty grain, creamy, brown bread and cereal. The taste is bitter-sweet, toasty grain, brown bread, caramel and lemon parfait with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I was hopping for more hops, but decent enough anyhow. Pretty drinkable stuff.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a vivacious, frothy white head. The aroma holds a bit of lemon zest, green pepper, light straw. Light sweet flavor with prominent elderflower character, expressions of green pepper, light bitter hay, pale bread, further lemon, slight rind. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Finishes with a clean peppery spice, mild floral hops, nips of pale bready sweetness, light bitter lemon rind and hay. Novel stuff.

Very lightly hazed golden with reddish hues and little in the way of a head. Nose is blueberries, floral tones, red berry pang, berry sherbets. Taste comprises nice blueberry licks, floral tones, strawberry sherbet, berry tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok licks.

Bottle shared for Colin’s bday party - thanks to Paul and B’ville. Pours hazy burnished gold with a frothy white head. The nose has some earthy, fairly true blueberry character. Light sweet flavor with subtly tangy bluebeeries, bread, nips of oxidation. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, lightly tannic, some juicy blueberries. Pretty damn decent, really.
