The first batches were brewed before Spring 2013 at the Hornbeam Cafe, Hoe Street, Walthamstow, London. Later production moved to the Blackhorse Workshop, Blackhorse Lane, Walthamstow where we produced over a hundred brews. After brewing a few batches in Bermondsey production was moved to the Brecon Beacons.

Bottle from Wales Ales. Pours a murky cola brown with small ring of foam but not much of a head. Aroma of smoke, slightly meaty but more wood noted than anything. Some sweet notes come through. Taste of smoked bacon flavour crisps, some yeasty sour berry tang. Long moderate bitterness with some liquorice which is the best bit of this beer. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Not for me.
