Established in 2016, Pretty Decent Beer Co. are an independent microbrewery and taproom in Forest Gate, East London. They brew small batch beers with one core aim - to use the money spent drinking them as a force for positive change. The simplest way to do is to donate to causes with every beer they sell. So that's exactly what they do.

Can. A light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head, short lived. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light and slightly thin pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Crisp cooling pine. Juicy if slightly thin stone fruits. Light bright citrus. Mild candy fruits. Touch of juicy bright sweet apple on the back end just before a light but pleasing bitterness kicks in. Semi dry finish. A notably light dipa with well delineated hop fruits. Good stuff!

Can from Hop Burns & Black. Looks lovely - deep ruby purple with a huge pink head that lasts a while. Nose is very jammy, fruits of the forest, with a decent yeasty dough. Taste is too sweet, not enough sour, but a bit of lactic at the finish. Creamy mouthfeel, juicy finish, medium-full body. Would be lovely if it was sour, but it's just too sweet and juicy for my liking.

Draft sample @ Pretty Decent taproom. Affichée comme fraichement percée, mais j'avoue que quasi 3/4 des bières dispo consistait de hazy ipa sauf pour les bières de leur 'core line'.
Couleur pâle, léger trouble, col blanc-cassé finement crémeux et tenace.
Arôme sur un bouquet floral tirant sur la camomille avec en appui un florilège de fruits à noyaux ainsi que le pomelo.
Palais est assez marqué sur le haze avec une épaisseur venant de l'avoine - peut-être un peu trop de haze pour moi. Tropical mais suivi par un léger renfort épicé du 'hazy'. Pointe torpicale versant sur la mangue, fruit de la passion, pomelo.
